Election Dates

In Florida, a person must be registered at least 29 days in advance of an election he or she wishes to vote in.

Book closing dates/deadlines for the 2012 election cycle to be aware of are as follows:
July 16th, 2012 is the Primary Election deadline.
October 9, 2012 is the General Election deadline.


The actual election dates are as follows: 
August 14, 2012 is the Primary Election Date.
November 6, 2012 is the General Election Date.
